Ganpath Leather Exports is started by a qualified leather technologist Mr Ganapathy in the year 2008. The tannery caters to brands like Gabor, 2Work4 (Albana) and few other brands from Portugal and Germany, through leather product manufacturers.
Tannery produces footwear leathers and book binding leathers (Holy Bible book cover) from cow wetblue leathers.
Finished leather articles being produced at Ganpath Leather Exports are Cow Nubuck, Floater Milled, Milled, Softy and Lining leathers.

The tannery processes Wet-blue to crust in anther tannery inside Sipcot on machinery subcontract basis. Effluent generated from this unit is sent to Sipcot CETP I for further treatment until Reverse osmosis (R-O), the R-O permeate is being reused for processing at member tanneries for leather processing.
The own tannery premises, being crust to finished leathers, little effluent are generated which are fully evaporated in solar pans.
Waste sludge is sent to incineration by authorised waste disposal agency, GEPIL situated in Ranipet (near by). Other non hazardous wastes are handled by authorised agencies as per TNPCB order.
